TF2 Text/HUD seems large?

Hi Guys,

Not just TF2 but CSS and DODS.

I just got a new 24" monitor, which works well all my games *relieved*.

The only thing i am unsure about is the size of the text/hud in the TF2 and other games (above). Menu text is the correct size, and nothing in terms of graphics of the game are bad. I just notice that text/hud has increased quite a lot and i personally dont need it to be this big and would be much happier with it the same size as it was on my old monitor.

If this is completely normal then im sorry but it just seems a little odd.

I moved from a 19inch widescreen 1440x900 to a 24inch widescreen 1920x1200.

Yeah if you switch up to something like 1920 x 1200 you need to restart the game otherwise the whole UI is messed up. After that it should work fine.

I did the settings last night and did a restart then, so if it is wrong, then it should be working but its not.

EDIT: just started tf2, put it to 640 by 480 (default 4:3), restarted, put to 1920x1200, restarted, went in game, exactly the same thing. I guess i will just check the game files (the tool in steam) but its not a big deal, i havent got the best eye sight but it does make the hud restrict vision a little bit because of the chunky letters, anyway, its just odd how no other game i have (basically no source games) dont have this kind of issue.
