Finally got this unlock a few days ago and spent 3 days practicing with it and it should be illegal :D

This is the ultimate Mid to Short range weapon and a sick long range when you get used to it.

Leading is tricky but has the best kill satisfaction of any weapon ingame imo. Its great for just strafing out and letting arrows lose into a pack of enemies and with some luck you can do min power arc shots over obstacles and hope to hit people.

The great thing is that not everyone has the patience to learn to use it or just plain suck with it so those who can wield it successfully seem to be on the low side.

Flaming arrow kills = :D and the nerd rage you can induce from people is just quality.

Who else is a die hard lover of The Huntsman?
 
I just find you just get owned and owned, you would be so much better using the rifle and getting a bit more range on people. It only works in like 1 main bottle neck with a quite big server.

I play medic / pyro though so not got much patience for it.

I found the extra versatility of the 1 sec charge up, no zoom and accurate at range shots more than made up for the scope/instant nature of the rifles bullets.

It comes into its own on bottle necks but with use it is just as capable everywhere else, I even find myself getting the jump on Snipers with Rifles at range because of the high rapid shooting and being able to strafe back into cover after letting it launch.

"Predicting" an enemy popping their head out and killing them when your already back in cover is something a rifle wielder cant do.

This weapon actually breathed life back into my TF2 gameplay, it's almost a completely new game using it :) I did suck for a day straight getting used to it though. :p

I've recently been converted into playing medics, brilliant laugh especially now ive got the blusauger, so amusing how many people you can kill while supporting someone else :D.

But do genuinely try give the huntsman a go now and again, what me and my friend find is that kills are so much more satisfying and fun with the huntsman which is why we continue to use it for say a map.
 
I love using for a change from the sniper rifle and it does really annoy people which is also funny. But i find that you dont really have a chance against a Sniper using the rifle at long range. :)

Though i still love getting Heavies with it. :D
 
Huntsman was fun for around an hour, but especially maps like 2fort I just end up getting my rifle back out an headshotting everyone with that instead.
 
even with a normal shot, i can see the arrow going off course and getting someone in the head. leaving me thinking, well that's not right.
 
I enjoy the sniper class now, never played sniper with the gun, but often play now with this weapon :)
