Any decent ones here that you folks play on?


Custom maps I aint bothered as long as they are decent. :p
 
Don't like the gtfogaming servers. 32 players is just too much spam imo.

Hampshire Heavies is where it's at as hohum posted. 24 slot, lots of regulars, mic chat, good fun :)

Nothing wrong with a few decent custom maps :) Shame people are too lazy to download them most of the time :P

I guess the fact a lot of servers have really **** custom maps also puts people off :P

I run my own TF2 server.. The A Team! Its a standard server with fast respawn (5 secs ish) and the Spy Syphon mod that lets spys recharge their cloak from dispensers and gain 15% cloak back from kills.

IP - 213.171.198.149:27015


I also run a CSS and CSS Gungame server on the same IP with ports 27016 and 27017 respectively! :)

Yeah, we tried cp_steel_b4 a couple of months ago, but people just didn't stay to download it (even though it came compressed through fast http) and those who did found it confusing (which it is the first couple of times you play it, or any map for that matter) - so eventually left, leaving us with a near empty server :( So we got rid after about a week.

Ironically it will be an 'official' map on tuesday, so people will be forced to play it :D
