As per the thread title, my Asus TF300T tablet (Android) only charges to 45%. The docking station fully charges but the tablet only goes as far as 45%. When the tablet drops below 45% it charges from the dock back to 45%. I've tried 2 different cables with the same result. Is the battery dying? The tablet works fine apart from this.

There is a bug with the ACPI device in Windows 7 (and possibly 8 and 8.1) that might be to blame, try this below, it resolved an issue I had a while back with Samsung Series 7 Gamer Laptop that did the same thing.

It's not a faulty laptop or battery if this fixes it, it's just windows being a pain and since I did the fix I have not had the problem again.

Thanks for the info mate but it's a 10" tablet running Android.

By any chance did this start to happen when you updated the tablet's Android version ? I know when Samsung users updated their Samsung Android phones they had charging issues reported by their devices.
