Guys,
Never seen this before, essentially my monitor (4 year old TFT - Belinea 22W Artistline) has suddenly become very dark, backlight gone?
Monitor doesn't move, has been on the same shelf for over a year and I've tried plugging my laptop into it with the same results, extremely dark.
Essentially looking at this page:

I can't see anything below the top 40% grey line. 0-30% are all completely black regardless of the contrast/brightness setting I have.
I've factory reset the settings on the monitor, altered those in windows on the PC (displays perfectly on my laptops own screen - but black on the monitor.) I've also tried a different VGA cable but it made no difference.
Any ideas? I'm guessing it's new monitor time
