TFT or LCD

Which of the above ( TFT or LCD ) offers the best quality at either 1920 x 1200 or 1680 x 1050 res ?

Im wanting a new monitor my present one is a Samsung 2033sw with a resolution of 1600 x 900 on 20". Im thinking around the 24" mark any advice??

I game with 2 GTX 275's in sli and I want to make the maximum use of them.

tft's are lcd's

but as for what monitor, whats the budget?

With 2x GTX275, you can happily run more or less everything at 1920x1200.....

lol, you can max out pretty much any game with a GTX260/4870 at 1920 - you don't need two cards

There isn't a single game I can't max out with my 280 @1920.

About £250 is my budget for a monitor. What does 5 ms and 2 ms mean please? Also what difference would i see gaming at the 1900 x 1200 res over the 1680 x 1050?
