TFTfor BF2

Basically i spend all my time playing bf2 , plus taking in a few DVDs now and again , but my primary use is for bf2. So what is the best monitor for this? , dont mind rearly if widescreen or not although may take slight preferance over a WS. Also dont mind if 19 / 20 " , although nothing smaller. Budget is £350 tops unless something is worth the extra.

All that your monitor requires is that the response rate is at least 8ms to prevent ghosting while playing BF2. There are TFTs that are better at DVD playback but its up to you if you want the fastest response rate or a TFT more suited to DVDs.

the Viewsonic VX2025 will get you for £351 with delivery. I'm expecting mine today.

The only problem with bf2 is that you don't gain anything in terms of field of view from playing in widescreen.

Still waiting on it with a patch..don't know if there are plans for fov support though.

Might mean I go back to CSS..we'll see tho.

Is it worth the extra like ~ £170 to get the Viewsonic VX2025 instead of a Acer AL1916W 19" . which seems to be getting great reviews.

it's all about the resolution imho.
