Hi, all.

Having looked around the 'net for a comparison and failing dismally, have any of you had any experience of either radiator in the thread title?

Having bought a Lian Li A05NB I'm trying to decide it if would be worth mounting the Swiftech in the case roof with some 10mm deep fans (I intend to run two 4850s in Crossfire, which is where the space constraints come in) or whether or not to accept my modding mojo isn't what it once was and stick a TFC 120.1 at the ready-made fan mount at the back of the case?

I suppose I don't even know if the Swiftech with 10mm fans would fit with a second card in Crossfire (I'm using a Biostar T-Power I45, just in case you're wondering...).

Cheers!

All rads do reasonably the same until they get near the limit of what they can efficiently remove. The TFC 120.1 cannot compete with a 320 rad but you may not need the heat-removal of a 120.3. That said, having too much radiator means you can add further heat-producers later.

Mmm... I suppose my problem is really trying to get an appreciation of how good the TFC actually is.

The Swiftech will be hampered by the fact that - if I can fit it - I'd have to use 10mm shallow fans which would have a static pressure similar to an asthmatic hamster...

Problem is the wife, or rather her opinion...

The case wouldn't look nice with three holes cut in it and fans spoiling the lines... I've tried it before and received nothing but  for my troubles. :o
