Tokyo Game Show 2007, which will focus on connected networks, will boast a total of 168 exhibitors occupying 1,708 booths, surpassing the size of last year's record event.

While Nintendo appears to have opted not to make an appearance at the show, Sony and Microsoft will be in attendance, as will major publishers such as Sega, Capcom, Square Enix, Konami, Namco Bandai and Tecmo.

The four day event is expected to draw close to 200,000 people to Chiba City’s Makuhari Messe over September 20–23. While the first two days are dedicated to professionals, the second half of the event will be open to the public.

Traditionally the show has run over three days but event organizers CESA decided to add an extra day for trade and press delegates to the 2007 event, most likely due to the scaled-down nature of this year’s E3 Media and Business Summit.

Sony Computer Entertainment president Kaz Hirai will deliver the keynote at this year’s event.

I cant wait till this and leipzig, E3 was OK but both of these are going to be interesting, think Microsoft will show more of there exclusive 08 line up, by then most of there big guns will be out apart from Mass Effect. Not sure why Nintendo aren't going though, possibly they have there own show about that time?

Maybe they realised that the gamers who go to TGS probably wont be interested in the likes of Wii Fit and brain training.

Oh god help us Kaz Hirai doing the keynote speech!

Least it will be worth tuning into for a laugh if nothing else.

I expect there will be a lot of MGS4 goodies from this

I think he'll start off from Sony Home, hopefully in a gimp outfit, or some other random outfit like a giant crab suit!
Depends also what gets shown at Leipzig this month, think most Euro company's going to show a lot of new stuff at Leipzig , maybe even some new stuff from Rare?

i hope so, Kameo and Viva Pinata are two of my favourite games on the 360. Im sure we'll see more of Banjo 3 at Lepizig.

Well Rare have announced Viva pinata for the DS. I think DOA 5 will be announced by Temco, some reason i think it will be multi platform though.
Loads of White knight story stuff from Level 5 and the other 4 RPGs they are going to announce. Also think that SE will show more of The Last Remnant on xbox360 and PS3
