Hello guys.
I'll start from the off by saying I've never played any of the Hitman games, but recently I've been enjoying Hitman:Sniper on my tablet.

Can anyone who has played the more recent Hitman releases on PC tell me if they do indeed have certain missions where you are stationary with your sniper gun and have to complete the mission as you are (just like Hitman Sniper) rather than creeping around knocking people out.

Are there any other games on PC which are like Hitman Sniper?

Sniper: Ghost Warrior is sniper heavy. You go through levels like in COD or Battlefield but they are designed in a way where close combat is minimal and you spent a lot of time sniping. The shooting isn't overly realistic but it isn't point and click like most shooters.

Hitman 2016 and 2018 both have sniper campaigns, and the main game levels are designed to have several vantage points you can snipe from. You don't get very good scores that way but you can avoid conflict etc. although you do need to bonk a guard or two over the head on some maps to get to said positions.
 
Thank you Omaeka, I'll give the latest Sniper: Ghost Warrior Contracts a go, it looks pretty good. A bit more searching reveals Hitman 2 (Gold) includes additional sniper map type downloads, so I'm going to bag that one too! Cheers.
