Hi everyone, I went to Thailand with my family a few weeks ago, and have just got round to editing and uploading the best for all to see. Been a little busy over the past couple of weeks with a university competition, I am the vice-president of SIFE Nottingham (see what we have been up to here here)

Anyway, there are some pictures following, please feel free to leave any comment you want, including how you would improve the shots (particularly post-processing :))

1. Monk in Bangkok

Looks kinda like Bird of Paradise to me, but the red flowers don't look right?

Can't be strelitzia, leaves are wrong, and besides its called the bird of paradise because flowers look like a birds head, not normal red flowers. Plus, strelitzia is native to south africa, bit far from thailand :D

No.4 takes the gold :)

Be aware of the falling coconut takes silver just on comedy value alone :D

Love 'em. I would love to go to Thailand sometime, seems like you can get some great shots :)
It's a really cool place, everything is exceedingly laid back. We went to Bangkok for a couple of days, which although isn't immediately visusally impressive (bit of a sprawling mess), it has a very nice atmosphere to it. Then we went to an island of the coast, Koh Samui, which is beautiful. Tourists have spoilt it a little, but it is still a very nice place to have a holiday. Oh, and if you like seafood, Thailand is the place to go!
