Intel C2D E6420 2.13ghz
Gigabyte DQ6 GA 965p
2gb Ballistix DDR2 pc6400
160gb WD 16mb S-ATA2 HDD
Lian-Li PC-7 Case
Corsair HX620W PSU Modular

i have to say its looking pretty nice so far, just need the money for the 8800gtx, this is the first pc i ever built properly and im pretty proud of it, naturally im going to learn to overclock my processor so i can unleash the beast ^^.

il be glad to upload more pictures when its fully completed in a weeks time, i have some blue cathodes im going to fit in it so it shines through the vent holes, i also plan to fit in watercooling if i can detatch the crazy cooling heatsink below the motherboard which i heard is hard to get off.

also i know i made the wrong choice on the motherboard, says but i liked the look of it =D

aye im going to do that, just need to wait for my 8800gtx and when that comes il put the dvdrw in as well, im not the best at tidying cables up but il make it look nice and tidy.

also i dont like where the F_Audio cable is positioned, i think i will have to detach it when the graphics card comes as the cable is very tight, you can see it on the photo, on the left of the motherboard near the pci-e 16x slot.

this is my current set up

To help with the F_Audio cable, you could run it beneath the GTX when it's installed. Have it running underneath it (between the pci express slot and pci backplate) and then run it parallel to the pci express slot and away into the drive bays, the graphics card should hide it mostly. It's how i have mine as the audio is in a similar position on my board.

Also, i think you should get as far away from that q tec before it blows :p

when your 8800 GTS comes....it seems, you'll have cable management problem? it looks like that the Power, Reset cable is too short?

sorry have to ask cos i'm planning to buy a DS3 and PC-7 Plus as well...:D

No, that cable you see there carries the audio line-in and mic. It is too short for mine aswell.

The power, hdd, reset etc. is fine, as the connectors are at the bottom of the board.

i will do what mark1 said, run the audio cable under the 8800gtx(pci-e slot) so that should hopefully work.
