Thanks OCUK

Just out of interest was it a 7970 or a 7970 GHz ed, as that would have more bearing on how much of an upgrade it is. Either way it is definitely an upgrade and once again it shows that OCUK is brilliant with their customer service.

is one of the main reasons i always use OKuk, had problems with smaller shops before.
Once had some faulty ram a few years after i bought it, no receipt but the packaging had the OCuk bar-code sticker. returned under life time warranty and within a few weeks got some new RAM, even offered a small discount of some RAM to tide me over too. was never a problem when i returned this to OCuk.

I have also had problems with the Bolton based competitor will refer to them as "SCAM". They don't seem to care about their customers at all.

The last (ever) order I placed with Scam they promised on the phone four days running that they would deliver my parts the next day (I'd taken a week off to build the pc.) After speaking to them in the morning I would get no updates or emails until a few minutes after their phone lines closed and then I'd get an email saying they were out of stock. After many phone calls I ran out of patience and cancelled the order. It took them weeks and many more calls to refund the order that they never actually processed and I ended up paying interest on the credit card before I got my money back. Total joke of a company!

OCUK on the other hand have always been brilliant to deal with during and after sales so I'll always use them if they stock what I need.

Thanks for informing us this - Ill think twice about ordering from the bolton place again.

IMO good customer service goes along way - and bad really leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
