Just like to say thankyou to everybody who's helped me decide on what to buy.

In the end Ive decided to plump for a evga 650i motherboard, an e2180, and some geil memory.

I might even try building it myself (especially with the offer to walk me through it) which was a no-no before I started looking at this site,

Few questions

1. what kind of screws do I need.
2. Do I need some sata cables?, and what other cables
3. What's that sata drivers on floppy thing I keep hearing about. Do I have to get a floppy drive to install xp if Im using sata drives (which I am)
4. anything else to bear in mind

The screws will come with the case. The cables will come with the motherboard. Unless you're going to use a RAID you won't need to install any drivers prior to installing your OS. Just take your time and be careful. It's fun and exciting to have new kit to play with.
