There was a point to the other thread; it was to attract DSL experts into giving an opinion on roughly where those stats should be synching.

I could, of course, have just contributed to the bi-weekly whinge thread that read something like, "poor synch rate, plz help, kthxbye" but instead chose another angle.

Obviously, being a member here since the forums opened, I don't deserve an explanation as to the closure of the thread

Actually asking that people take a look (though posting what looks like bit/bin values is a total waste of time) might have been an idea rather than inviting a spamfest. Emailing to ask why it had been closed would have been a good start too...
