..... For all the new goodies :)

Just put together a new gaming rig thought Id share the build, this is going to be used for gaming, streaming and video editing. Went over budget somewhat but hoping this will last a few years to come.

Parts:

Corsair 760t
Maximus VII Ranger
Intel I7 4790K
16gb 2400mhz Hyper X Ram
Corsair H105
2 X GTX 970 Strix 3.5 GB Editions lol
Superflower Leadex 850 watt Gold full modular PSU
Samsumg 250GB 850 Evo SSD
WD Black 2TB HDD
ROG Swift Monitor

The only thing I want to add is some LED fans for the Radiator and the SP fan for the back but that comes next month.

Apologies but my camera aint the best but Im pretty happy with the result.

Very nice build, but can i make a suggestion for you. Flip your psu over as it is currently drawing warm air from your bottom gpu. By turning it over it will be taking cool air from below and venting out the rear of the unit. This can also help with cable management a bit, as the cables are closer to the grommets . Also ensure you have a dust filter below the psu when it's turned over.:)

100% agree,

Flip the PSU over, and even if you have to use a pair of tights to act as a filter all will be good :D

Nice build by the way.

Flip that PSU - I guess you watch LinusTechTips? Really grinds my gears that he tells people to mount their PSU that way.

PS - Looks great! Nice component choice!

YOUR BASKET
1 x Aerocool DS Edition Fan, White - 140mm £13.99
2 x Aerocool DS Edition Fan - White - 120mm £12.49 (£24.98)
Total : £48.58 (includes shipping : £8.00).

Quality. White LEDs. And the Maximus VII Ranger can control their speed through voltage and your choice of fan profile. Although I soon realized they were quiet enough running on full all the time.

And very nice rig, by the way.

Personally I think the PSU is fine, looks better too.

There is no real benifit having it either way but having your PSU draw heat away from the GPUs is better IMO

Congrats on your new hardware.

Just one observation, you may want to change the fans around at the top of your case as they're blowing air from the inside of the case into the CPU Radiator ;)
