What was it called again, it was something like XGA or XVGA, can someone please remind me.
I want to connect my Gamecube to my monitor, and i will probable at some point get a Xbox360. Will the quality of the 360's video feed be reduced if i use said device?

Thanks

An expensive one will use component out for the vga box and make the image look not so great on a tft.

You dont need a vga box at all for a 360 they can output in vga.

Probably not worth it imo

You refer to "The X2VGA+ High Definition VGA Pack"

"We've been testing and searching for the perfect VGA adapter ever since the Xbox launched, and while we've seen a few that worked, none do the job quite like the X2VGA adaptor."
"With a suitable VGA monitor, your Xbox will display the same resolutions it can on an HDTV."
"Colors, resolution, and details pop...the difference is astonishing."
Score:9.0/10 Official Xbox Magazine (Sept. Issue, 2003 p.18)

"Testing has shown it's perfect for those looking for HDTV-quality visuals..."
XBox Nation (Dec 03/Jan 04 p.64)

A few caveats:

I think that you'll only get the HDTV quality visuals with an Xbox capable of outputting NTSC (both of mine can, yours won't if it is a stock PAL unit).

This refers only to the Xbox NOT the Xbox360.

It isn't cheap at £50+
