I've been rounding up quite a few quotes for my Corsa SXi+ and got the following being 21 with 2 ncb's

£724.99 Adrian Flux
£873.60 Ecarinsurance
£1013.xx Quinn-Direct(Who I'm currently with)
£1310.xx Elephant
£16xx NUD

Anywhere else I can try quickly?

I've emailed Quinn twice with details that I can get it cheaper elsewhere but they aren't replying which is a bummer

I cba phoning them unless it's to cancel because I can't understand them nor do their staff pay full attention to what I say.

£724.99 from Flux is a provisional quote, but how often do they keep to the prices given on these?

Don't forget with Admiral/Elephant/Bell to add an older person with lots of experience (e.g. a parent), as a named driver to reduce the quote.

Other than that, it's just a matter of doing the rounds yourself. The price comparison sites are all well and good, but IME a better deal can be found by doing the leg work yourself.

From what I remember Swift Cover quoted me around £950-1000

Aren't Tesco + DL underwritten by NUD? Their prices are horrendous for me...

i did it last August, took 2 months to get the cashback but it came through ok

my quote was £350, - £100 = £250 for the year, fully comp!

Tesco & DL are indeed underwritten by the same company, but IIRC it's not NUD

No personal experience with Flux but I've heard they're cheap, but utterly awful if you have to claim..

Adrian Flux have been excellent for me on all 4 of my cars I've had insured........But I've never had to claim

They all look high, I assume its a 1.4?

Myself I just paid just under £1000 for fully comp insurance on my own after 1 year as a named driver with direct line.

I admit that is on a 1.2 but I was 18 when I renewed.

my brother (age 20) has just had a 9xx TPFT quote on a 1.4 corsa sport in a really bad area (TS3) and no NCB and no driving experience.

most of the bigger insurances - £1100-2000
