I've recently replaced my 8gb Corsair Vengeance for 16gb Patriot Extreme and have been through the previous thread for overclocking the Corsair and assumed the same process for the Patriot would apply. The RAM is great (Thanks OcUK) and runs at 1600, but my efforts to clock to 1866 (speed is supported on my board) doesn't work.
This is my current BIOS setup:
From the first pic, I have changed the DRAM voltage (sys voltage control) to manual and set it to 1.65. Under DRAM config, I set the memory clock to manual and I think the multi was x9.2.
Change the 1T/2T Command to 2T and manually set the CAS to 10-10-10-27 as per spec.
On rebooting with the voltage on auto and manual, I get the same overclock error each time.
Am I stupidly expecting all RAM to be the same, should these settings apply to the Patriot as well as the Vengeance?
Again, thanks for your help!
