My mum took the dog over the woods and parked her BMW in a space between 3 other cars. She walked the dog for about an hour and as she returned to the car someone came running up to her asking if one of the cars was hers as they'd been broken into, quite a few people were standing around the cars waiting for police to arrive and 3 of the cars had smashed windows, mum looked at her car to find it untouched! How lucky was that!

Only thing I can think of is that the cars broken into were older than the bmw so the thief may have been worried about setting off the alarm

I don't know what the other cars were but I'm assuming they were quite a bit older and possibly had things on display, my mums car had nothing in it and I think it's hard to nick the stereo out of a bmw
