I was overclocking yesterday to boost my cinebench r15 scores and i manage to get all 6 cores running at 4.8ghz stable. Then i tried to see if there was any way i could improve my score, so i disabled 2 modules on my 6200 and i got it to run at 5ghz which gave my single thread score a good boost. Today i was going from where i left off yesterday and so i booted up my pc with the 2 modules disabled at 1.525v like i did the other day. It then blue screened straight away when the cpu was put under load. I bumped the voltage up to 1.55v and it booted, blue screened, froze and then went blank
. I then tried turnong it back on to put it back to my normal oc in the bios and it wouldn't even post. I switched out various parts with no luck, until i changed the cpu. I put my sempron 145 in and it posted and booted into windows perfectly. Is there any chance my fx6200 is still alive or is it buggered? 1.55v doesn't seem like much to kill a cpu.
