I am looking for a little help regarding a recent PSU failure of mine...

My Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 650w is no longer in use, so I would like to ask for some suggestions for a replacement.

A modular unit would be preferable, if possible. And I need it to run my current rig which is below. Would also like to be able to use this with future hardware upgrades.

I currently have;

Asus p5k premium wi/fi
Q6600 (running at 3.5)
ATI 4870 (512mb - 2 x 6 pin pci-e)
3 Sata optical drives
3 Sata HDDs

Any suggestions would be more than appreciated, no real budget but lets not go crazy :p

Little on the expensive side though eh?

EDIT: Found out the OcUK is from PowerCool

Depends how you look at it. People have no reservations when spending in excess of £300 on graphics cards and yet most are willing to skimp on what is arguably the component that most deserves to be of high quality - the power supply. Not only that, but graphics cards are outdated and replaced regularly. PSUs are not like this as they are something that you keep for a long time.

I think it's worth it and they should be considered an investment.

PS: The Corsair TX 650 only costs a little more than the OCZ and is definitely a better unit.
