But unfortunately, you'd get nowhere. Because your approach just doesn't lend itself to packing on size in the areas that make a difference.

Same as if I tried my way of lifting and entering powerlifting comps

When you say I'd get nowhere, are you talking about competing? When I said body building, I simply meant gaining size, not competing.
 
LiE without causing any more offence, I honestly don't think you pack on size amazingly. You're thick in certain parts, your chest looks good from certain angles, your back is wide. Yet when stood in a tshirts next to Scott and Dom, you don't look as big. That's size to me. Not like Kai when you're big with your shirt off and nothing in shot to gauge size from (couldn't let him escape from all the flak!), but Freefaller big, U_E big, Chicco big (although he's a Manlet, sorry bro).

But he isn't intrested in this, he's still one of the strongest on these boards. Infact the strongest in his classes at competitions, obviously his training is paying off and knows what he is doing.

There's a difference between not training for- and not interested in :)
 
That's fine, I haven't been gaining size for 3+ years, I've hit my weight for competing. So unless I go up to the 93s I won't be gaining anymore.
 
And I honestly find it staggering how you routinely add so much strength while maintaining an almost identical weight. I'm not trying to take any of your achievements away from you, I just think the BB'ing and PL'ing guys here have different perceptions of mass, progress and strength.

And sexual orientation.

I'd like to think I'm more modest than that. I don't think my chest looks too bad, it's hard to capture it, but there's certainly a decent amount of mass there. I've never said I'm big, that would be silly. 83kg at my height and build isn't ever going to look big in clothes.
 
On a related note snapped my shoulder up on Monday attempting to bench on the smith.... guy asked for a spot on his last set so thought I would see what all the fuss was about using the smith, literally 3 or 4 reps and my shoulder felt gash and now I've been in pain since then, why the hell did I do it? wasnt even training chest! :mad:

Its shoulders tonight, going to need all kinds of mobility work before I attempt OHP....
 
Bro... :( there's no fuss over the smith. Was it flat bench? That will certainly snap you up quick.
