The thread usually starts in July, but being a World Cup year we'll start a little earlier and close the other one.

Let's hope Dzeko is top scorer ;)
 
First!

Just signed up that 888 goals offer, went boring and picked Brazil. Deposited £20 and stuck £5 on them to win both halves of each of their group games to qualify for the bonus, and stuck the remaining £5 on Dzeko top (joining the club :p). They're my only non-acca bets atm.

By the way, Estonian Cup 1st round this week ;)

Today's game was 7-0 to Infonet Reserves but no bookie covered it. Next games are 4th/5th/6th.
 
had a double on Portugal u20s and Brazil u21s today. Won the Portugal bet and Brazil are currently 5 - 2 up on France. 4.84 odds for the double :)

Yeah just a shame qualifying bets have to be over 1.5. Match Results for all of Brazil's games for them to win are under that :p

Also need to work out what to do with the free bets given the stake won't be returned.

Unbelievable. Did a 7-fold yesterday, 6 football games and a horse. The horse won first at 9/2, then I was waiting for the footy to start. Had USA/btts at 3/1, France Paraguay draw also 3/1. For a tenner it would have been over £1900....only one to let me down? ****ing Germany unable to beat Cameroon!
 
Feel for you bro!

That's why I quite like Betfair; they refund your stake if one leg lets you down. I know it's not quite £1,900, but it takes the sting out a bit :p.
 
Oh it happens, but the thing that really gets me is that Germany were by far the most odds-on of the lot!...always the way:p

Paddy Power often do the one leg refund as well, but only on specific ones I believe
 
I was about to say England had started well enough to warrant a bet on them to win. Glad I didn't do it now :p

I've got a small treble on a couple of Norwegian cup games (both won) and Holland to beat Wales with over 1.5 goals.
 
Holland are so poor. Even gambling can't make this match interesting. Van Persie went off injured at half time. Looked like a groin problem - hopefully nothing serious.

Seems to be on First Goalscorer and Anytime Correct Score rather than Anytime Goalscorer.
 
At Betbright if you put £25 the WC winner you get a £5 free bet every time they win a game.

If you mean simply backing and laying, trying to get a 'position' where you cannot lose then yes, not huge stakes tho.

For example, Ive been building a stake on Brazil (huge trends/stats choice) using matched bets etc from bookies, currently about £80 but very much looking to trade out if the qualify from group well, by that i mean lay Brazil when they contract enough so my lay will cover my stake, aim is to have a no risk position whereby if Brazil win then I win, if they dont win i dont lose.

This is why imo every punter must have exchanges in their armoury, you can extract value in play/when odds contract in ure favour.
