The 4870 X2 list of games?

Hi there!

I was wondering if there is a list of games for which the 4870 X2 works... specifically the X2 part of the card. (ie both cards work in Xfire and give imp performance gains).

And is it just a driver issue that it doesnt work in all games? i seem to recall reading a renaming of exe to bioshock.exe trick ^_^


If anyone can clue me up that would be great!! Thanks in advance

It works in all the triple-A titles....actually, the only modern game I can think of where it doesn't work is World in Conflict.

If that's true (...not saying it isn't) then it must have been enabled in the latest drivers set (or maybe a game-patch). A few weeks ago the situation was like this:



Anyway, to answer the OPs question: Most games see a benefit from crossfire solutions. The question is usually "how much improvement do I see?"

Virtually all the games that actually need a second GPU (crysis etc) are quickly updated to take advantage of the crossfire solution (either at driver- or game-level), since they are more likely to appear in benchmarks. We all know that its benchmarks which shift graphics cards.
