I'll post here to remind myself to have a look at the 2nd clock. Not sure what it resets at, so hopefully won't be far off 5k.

Does this count? OBC Readout which I haven't reset since getting the car, 11.5k miles so far. The trip resets every trip but that's different, this is my overall average.

330e.

I will do that. Again only posts will supporting pic of trip computer/odometer will be included.

Why, when trip computers aren't that accurate? Will posting a screenshot of an economy tracker app not suffice? Not to mention I'm reset every tank fill up.

I reset on every refill, so no chance to take part.

However, my VW trip computers consistently come out around 2 mpg better than my tank to tank figures.

OP should be banned for most stupidist thread requirements ever.

OP: "Hey internet, reset your trip counters today, go and drive 5000 miles and then post your MPG from your completely woefully inaccurate ODB".

Everyone:.........

I'd travel 5000 miles and one of 3 things would happen.

1. A year would pass
2. I'd forget to reply
3. This thread will be on page 50

Need to stick with pics of trip computer otherwise I wouldn't be doing anything else except from updating the table.

You would be really stupid if you reset your counter
