Hi,

I am looking to buy a new graphics card tonight and just wndered if the 660 ti will be going on sale tonight as I heard it was the release date.

I can't afford the gtx 670 and I am worried the gtx 570 is a bit out of date could you please tell me what card to buy I want nvidia and I want to buy my card tonight.

I looking to get around 50 frames on most games in high 1080p

Tomorrow (so 12am?) the nda is lifted I believe.

Not sure if the card is released too.

If I were you I'd wait a day or two for all the comprehensive reviews to pop up showing the performance v the 570.

Do new card releases usually have an effect on older cards' prices?
I'm buying a GPU and I'm super frustrated to see the same prices right now as half a year ago, or even a year ago! Only the high end cards and upper-mid level cards have a bit decreased in price here in Finland.

Not always, not retail new prices anyway, look at the GTX580 for example, still floating around the same price point as the 670. Prices of used cards in the same performance bracket will take a hit though :)

I think I might just get the gtx 670 and be done with then I wont have to upgrade for a few years.

Does it matter what 670 I get or should I just get the cheapest one?
