Since I've managed to wangle every Monday and Friday off work this month I'm going to be staying up tonight to watch the awards show on Sky Movies. I have my popcorn, pizza and ale all ready, and thought I'd start an update thread so I have something to do while the musical numbers are on.

First award, actor in a supporting role, has gone to George Clooney. Very modest and civil speech, but what's with them playing music in the background the whole time?! Seems awfully odd.
