Since I've managed to wangle every Monday and Friday off work this month I'm going to be staying up tonight to watch the awards show on Sky Movies. I have my popcorn, pizza and ale all ready, and thought I'd start an update thread so I have something to do while the musical numbers are on. :p

First award, actor in a supporting role, has gone to George Clooney. Very modest and civil speech, but what's with them playing music in the background the whole time?! Seems awfully odd.

Rachel Weisz wins best supporting actress for The Constant Gardener. That's two awards for the Brits so far. :)
