Serious Performance Uplift
The original 8Pack Supernova was already a powerhouse, but even the best of the best need upgrades now and then. Building on the Supernova’s legendary performance, the MK2 features a 25% uplift in performance with an AMD Threadripper 5995WRX! Armed with octo-channel memory, and AMD’s fifth generation Threadripper CPU, the Supernova MK2 takes advantage of an improved architecture allowing for incredible clock speeds and massive memory bandwidth.

Fifth Gen Threadripper
One of the main upgrades for the Supernova MK2 is the CPU and its compatible motherboard. Armed with the AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 5995WRX CPU and ASRock Creator WRX80 Motherboard, the MK2 is built for serious, continuous performance.
AMD’s Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5995WRX is kitted out with an incredible 64 cores and 128 threads, making it the ultimate CPU for intensive workloads. This 8Pack machine has naturally been fine-tuned, allowing the CPU to reach clock speeds of 4.00GHz on multi-threaded loads and 4.75GHz on single-threaded loads. Thanks to this, you’ll benefit from a 25% performance uplift in heavy workloads and a whopping 30% increase on lower threaded loads compared to the original Supernova.
Keeping all this performance chilled is custom in-house VRM cooling designed by our Techforge team. This cooling includes a dedicated water block and rear armour to efficiently remove heat from the motherboard's front and back. Thanks to this, maximum clock speeds can be maintained for extended periods of time.
Graphics and Memory
Alongside the upgraded CPU, the other main upgrade in performance on the 8Pack Supernova MK2 is memory. This powerful PC has 256GB of DDR4 RAM in an octo-channel configuration. This configuration has 32GB in each of the eight memory channels. This hugely increases the overall memory bandwidth available to the CPU at any time.
Just like its predecessor, the Supernova MK2 can be equipped with two NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 GPUs in SLI (NV-Link) or three RTX 3090s unlinked. No matter which configuration you choose, they have been overclocked to the maximum stable speed and fitted with EK full-cover water blocks. Each NVIDIA RTX 3090 GPU boasts 24GB of GDDR6X memory, allowing them to perform highly intensive workloads across as many monitors you need, at any resolution.
Staying Cool
Keeping so much performance adequately cooled is no small task. The 8Pack Supernova MK2 is packed with efficient water-cooling hardware and a dual custom loop. The full custom loop features three radiators mounted on the top, front, and bottom of the case, in addition to hard-line tubing and even bespoke 8Pack fan grills. This allows heat to be carried away from the components of the system easily.
