I got to meet that hunk of a man then got to hear him talk about Abyss. Was fascinating.

Got really excited when I saw the news yesterday, sadly this seems to be US only for cinemas, i've watched this so many times but would be excellent to watch at the cinema

Hopefully this means we are finally going to get a UHD release of the film on disc!

I've been holding off rewatching this for ages as I've been waiting on the 4K. My missus has never seen it either so could be worth a trip to the cinema!

Yes, that’s already been confirmed. The man himself wanted to work on the transfer. Which could be good or bad!! He fiddled to much with the transfer of T2

The long-awaited special edition of The Abyss will be released digitally on December 12 and physically on March 12, 2024

One of the things I really like about the film is the casting. They all look like a bunch of average joes.(apart from Beihn)
