Watched first episode last night now s1 has finished airing, not what I expected going into it (was thinking more along the lines of the last few shows / films Fassbender has done as a spy / hitman) but it's put enough plot points down that I'm looking forward to see how it progresses.

I imagine some people will find episode 1 slow and give up as it's not full of action set pieces.

Still have the last ep of the series to watch but i'm finding it a bit of a struggle and a chore to watch mostly because the story doesn't seem particularly believable in that you've got an agent undermining the station and deputy station chiefs and running around without any real repercussions. It just makes it appear the CIA, or at least London station, is completely inept when in reality you would imagine Fassbender's character would have been suspended days ago or at least rained in.

And then there's Danny's story which currently, no doubt it'll get fleshed out in the next series, feels very much like they tacked it on just to meet runtimes.

It's worth a watch and i'm sure it'll appeal to a lot of folk but i feel other CIA based series have been better.

Finished s1 and it was a little slow to get going but this is the first 'spy' show in years I've watched that actually felt like a spy show and not a one man army Jason Bourne style. I can see why they annouced s2 early with how it ends and glad that it's been renewed.
