Stupidly overpriced, unless you have already got a decent desktop gpu at the ready to put in.
The enclosure is the same size as a modest desktop, hideously expensive and you're trapped with the laptop internal specs.
I'd much rather spend a little more to build a gaming desktop for home use. That little extra would be very easy to find if not buying on overpriced and underspecced Alienware loltop too.

Too bad it's proprietary (the adapter only works with Alienware 13) or else it could have been half-decent.
