They look so tasty! I own the V4 and don't have a single bad word to say about OCZ. If the v4 is anything to go off this will be amazing imo.

I would rather have this

YOUR BASKET
1 x OCZ RevoDrive3 240GB PCI-E SSD - (RVD3-FHPX4-240G) £299.99
Total : £309.59 (includes shipping : £8.00).

for extra 60 quid.

Brute force numbers are great and I dont have a bad thing to say about the revo however we need to think efficiency.

Old american muscle cards with there 6ltr engines may only of had 250bhp yet you can get 2ltr engines with that now.

These reads and writes may be slower but they are consistent and the IOPS on the Revo are subject to the efficiency of RAID etc

Itll be quick and will certainly give the Revo a good run for its money ;)

The Revo is good, but more effort to move swap around and they are a pain to fit in a laptop. :P

laptop, hell yeah it would be a pain... in a normal PC case, i`d say for most of users about the same... not everyone has got nice case, removing HDD in older cases, having to take off 2 side panels find a screw-driver that fits and unscrew 4 screws and then repeat procedure to put it back into place, sure is a pain.. but really how often do you swap your HDD`s around :p

well I guess only benchmarks will answer this, but i see this SSD as a good compromise between normal SSD and revo.

To me Revo is more advanced, its just that the price is very high I remember not so long ago they were literally untouchable.

These potentially look like fantastic drives; possibly on par maybe better than the Samsung 830 and/or 840 series..
