  • While previewing the timeline in VEGAS Pro™, some colors may appear inverted.

Known Issues
  • GPU utilization may be stuck at 100% in Radeon performance metrics after closing games on some AMD Graphics Products such as Radeon™ 570.
  • When Radeon™ Anti-Lag is enabled, a beep can be heard when pressing shift + back key. [Resolution targeted for 22.11.1]
  • Elite Dangerous may crash upon launch on Radeon™ RX 6000 series GPUs. [Resolution targeted for 22.10.3]
  • Stuttering may occur during video playback using hardware acceleration with Firefox on some AMD Graphics Products such as the Radeon™ RX 6900 XT Graphics.
  • Brief display corruption may occur when switching between video and game windows on some AMD Graphics Products such as the Radeon™ RX 6700 XT.
  • Improvements have been made in 22.10.2 to reduce occurrence for some configurations.

RX6800 XT black screen update!

After months of black screens and the occasional need to reset my hung PC, numerous driver and configuration changes and a complete reinstall of Windows 11 it looks like I've solved the problem.

Despite having no issues with any other apps, only the AMD drivers, I read that a fellow sufferer simply swapped his DIMMs around in the slots so, almost as a last resort, I thought I'd do the same. I'd also run numerous memory tests which resulted in no issues being reported.

I'm happy to report after swapping my DIMMs around (not replacing, just swapping slots) I've not encountered a single crash in over a week. This is on a system where I'd suffer from at least one crash per day.

Answers on a postcard.....
Your memory configuration was not stable, probably needed a bump of voltage or something assuming you were just running XMP.

A lot of performance increases for the 6950XT there, why quote that card specifically? I don't understand that, would that not apply to all RX 6000 GPU's or is this due to some CPU overhead and the quoted results only apply to the fastest of the RX 6000 range?

Maybe i'm over thinking it but why quote one GPU specifically and not just the RX 6000 range? if i have an RX 6800 can i not expect the same results?

Thanks Matt :)
Yes should be similar gains on all GPUs but not every GPU is tested so only what is tested is mentioned afaik.

A follow-up to my 7900XT woes from the previous page. It was the PSU. I splashed out on a new Seasonic Vertex 1000W and put it in last week. Greatly improved things. So a big fat apology to AMD for blaming their drivers! :)
