*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

Pulse? I love those, no fuss no RGB **** just good cooling

Yeah best looking AIB cards including Nvidia. One of the reasons I want to stay AMD.
It's been a fair few years since I've bought any GPU, let alone AMD (admittedly the last one was an MSI RX 480 as a bday present for my brother). So I'm less familiar with recent AIB options.

When it comes to these AIBs, what are everyone's thoughts? What's best for temps or noise, or price-wise? Any to stay away from?
I notice OCUK often do decent deals on Sapphire Pulse, are they worth the relative bargain? I also see there's various XFX Speedster models among the cheaper options, any good?

I had a XFX 'qick' or something dumb 6700xt 2 or 3 years ago, I thought it was amazing tbh. Solid feeling and huge overbuilt cooler and fans, I love that manufacturers do that now. I never hear the fans in my GPUs anymore. I have a suprim 4080 now, they only turn on under heavy gaming, and even then, they barely get going. Although I also have big glass lianli cases, so room is never an issue

I also had a pulse rx570 4gb as a temp, could tell it was a quality card, but it was a 2 fanner and I could hear it when it got going. Not like a jet or anything, but I was aware of its existence

AMD does have the best-looking AIB designs, IMO. You can get subtle, no nonsese ones like Pulse or Merc; or rizzy ones like the Vapor-X or Red Devil.

My favlorite card in recent memory was my 7900xtx Red Devil Limited that came in the Necronomicon case.

There are no junk designs like Zotac, Manly, or the sparkly gem ones like on the nV side.

DLSS is a big selling point but if FSR4 offers similar quality then there will be no real reason to go for an expensive Nvidia card. Hopefully AMD can offer RT and upscaling that is competitive this time.
DLSS is already available in hundreds of games (even FSR 2 is still lagging behind). FSR 4 is starting from 0. That should not be undervalued.

I like the pulse. I've had a couple in the past and likely will go for that again if I get a new card. Only possible issue I have with the styling is the red accents, which might not match all builds, but since I've gone with black and red theme already, it's perfect for me :)

Sapphire are the GOAT.

Take a look at this, one of these is the 7800 XT Nitro+, the other a bogo standard 7700 XT Pulse, ok so if i was to ask you which is which most of you will spot it in a second but beyond that look at how over built these PCB's are and other than the obvious what is the difference between the Nitro+ and Pulse PCB's? Almost nothing, its not like the cheaper model is in any way cut down, the Pulse PCB is just as robust as the Nitro +, the only difference between them are the cooler and some RGB.

Can you imagine Asus using the same PCB for the Dual as they do for the ROG Strix?
