So NOW he's going to do tests with "Gaming mode". He's also manually setting Frequency steps for the GPU instead of leaving it to Auto.

Not convinced about our tester though, maybe he should have been left in the darkened room :p
 
Hopefully in full gaming mode those scores go up as they are behind a fury X at 1400mhz. It just seems off and if i was him i would be monitoring clocks to see what's going on as i i have my doubts that it's getting anywhere close to 1600mhz.

Honestly not expecting great things from Vega off the bat. With Ryzen making a good splash in the market i can see Navi being good with more income to back it up.

My mate has a Saturday delivery for the FE card but we are both out on a stag do so won't be able to get him to do many tests. Will most likely go through for some tests when we finally sober up. Wanted him to wait on the full gaming card but he's wanted an upgrade for so long and on Freesync so he decided to jump on the FE. Still feels wrong to say the FE due to Nvidia's Founders Edition.

noooo make it more fun... do the benching when totally smashed and just back in from the stag do :)
 
I'm still sticking by my claim of 1080 performance in dx 11 stuff, maybe 5-10% better overall and coming in at £350-400 (probably closer to £400 with the current GPU climate).......

Yup all gone now! No CCR for used products was definitely a big no no! Although I'm pretty sure that you are entitled to return a used item under CCR regardless of where you buy from..... Of course with the product being in pristine condition.

it shouldn't trade blows with the 1080, vega need to pull a significant win over it, not 20-30% from segment jump but something around half way would be acceptable, luckily it's only FE, but that would be a disaster if it was RX.
 
Haha, the "reviewer" has given up and is going to wait for Proper official reviews now. I noticed he was running the GPU at a 30% power limit as well.

Let's hope PcPer get their one soon!

By the sounds of that (prepared) statement AMD have got his family hostage. :D Contact Liam again :D

Wording is a bit different to his other posts (conspiracy theory).
