Last time I had this issue I installed the latest beta version of MSI Afterburner. Some reported switching skins did the trick too (weird, I know...).

Just to be sure before you try the Beta version trick, make sure you uninstall the previous copy completely and reboot. Good luck.

This thing is a beast compared to my trusty Radeon VII

Im running it in a SFF Geek a50plus case. gaming temps reach around 75degrees.

It seems to chew though most games at max or close to max settings.

Its not all roses tho, mine appears to emit a really annoying electrical buzzing noise when the fans run at any speed low/high, the buzzing is a constant pitch/volume no matter what speed the fans run at. At first I thought it was coil whine but it happens even when the clock speed is idle/low if the fans run. Its kind of annoying.

RMA? I did ask on the evga forum but nobody there replied

Just wanted to report back on this. It turns out, downloading the latest version of Precision X1 suggested I needed a firmware update. When I did the update the noise has now gone away.

I cant even imagine why but there was something up with how it was handling the fans.

If you get an EVGA card, make sure you get PX1 and do the firmware!

Card is perfect now, im loving it

All aboard! Arrived today, didn't think it was that big until I put it next to my 2080ti once I'd put the cooler back on and then even more so when I tried to place it on the case the it was so long it hit the CPU loop. Quick bodge of cutting a pipe a few mm shorter to squeeze it in, will do until the EKWB arrives and get both loops back up. Performance is amazing! Fully realised the potential of my LG CX48
