Reset to default settings, set core -250, open curve, drag 850 mark to around 1900 ish, click tick, done.

Mine has been fine so far boosting to 1905 ish at 850mv.

It's currently looking like this...

If core clock shows Curve then its done but yes you need to drag it up to 1800-1900mhz wherever you want to set it. You can always click the round arrow to reset the settings and try again.

Great stuff, thanks chaps.

Core set to -250, 850mV up to 1890 MHz, and all seems lovely and stable - it's actually out performing stock whilst drawing 70w less! Bonkers.

In Time Spy;
Stock = 14719
Undervolted = 15148

and the coil whine is down to I'd say less than 1/4 of what it was - perfectly acceptable.

Much happier now. You guys are great

Hi Chaps, sorry if this has been covered already but can anyone point to a decent make of a 3080FE 12 pin to dual 8 pin extension cable in white?

I've seen one listed at the rainforest but I've never heard of the maker and I'm not going to trust my 3080 to an unknown provider.

Pexon do one that I was looking at. About £25.

Seems odd that OcUK don't stock anything similar

Edit: Actually, not sure it's the micro connector.

I left it at 0, I mentioned it right at bottom of notes. The curve is controlling target clock speeds anyway. Also yes apologies, drag it up not down, I will edit my post.

I also left memory at 0 because of the reported temperature issues.

Thats a damn good card I reckon, apparently my 0.882v is better than what most are setting to, so if you are stable at 1905 with 0.850mv well done.

Although I decided to go with a lower clock speed/voltage so I can keep the card below 260w, 320w for an extra couple of % isnt worth it for me.

Cant say I have scientifically tested it as such.

Ran a few benchmarks and played a load of games without issue is all. Originally I tried 825mv but that crashed so bumped to 850 and no issues.

Yep its all you can do, use the card, if it works its good.

What's this mod? An underclock?

Would it work on the stock overclocked MSI Version of the 3080

Undervolting the GPU to run cooler, use less Watts but still maintain and in some cases improve on performance and works with any 3xxx series card, (and others)

Sold my 3080fe for £1275 and managed to pick up an 3080 Aorus Master for £860. So overall I’ve paid £235 for a 3080.

The Aorus is massive compared to the fe model. It also runs over 10 degrees cooler and the memory is cooler while mining aswell which was proving a problem with the fe card.
