My FE turned up today! Out the box I got +157 using Nvidias performance tuner.
Really? I may be being blind but not seen that on their website:Why that one and not the EK? I know the EK has heatpipes on the back plate.
Really? I may be being blind but not seen that on their website:
EK-Quantum Vector Strix RTX 3080/3090 Backplate - Nickel is a CNC machined retention backplate made from nickel-plated aluminum, that fits all EK-Quantum Vector Strix RTX 3070/3080/3090 water blocks.
The backplate covers the whole length of the graphics cards PCB, serves as an aesthetic add-on, and also provides passive cooling for the backside of the voltage regulation module (VRM), the GPU core, and VRAM on the 3090 cards.

Damn must be one of the other block makers who has heatpipes on the back! I have lost myself trying to do research into these cards and the waterblock.
It was aquacomputer's backplate that has heatpipe
That is lovely! Especially the temp read out. I wonder if they will make once for FE as that looks for reference.
How are all you fetting the FE? I’ve been trying since launch day and always getting out of stock.
A certain competitor has 542 outstanding orders just of Asus branded 3090's!

Also I see a lot of people are using Alphacool D-ram cooler and are reporting temps of 38C of the rear ram.
Wow whats the release date for this puppy? That is spectacular!
i like the idea of how the ram cooler on the back as well, how do they mount it to the back, im guessing you'll have to drill holes into the back plate with longer screws as well.
Edit: nvm i've just checked and theres no stock on their website yet but the new 3080 and 3090 doesn't seem to have the heat pipe on the back available?
Im so drawn to it, can you tell im excited? haha! They only launched it 16 hours and those are the pics from their launch for the 3080 and 3090. I assume they havent updated their site yet with the active backplate.
And I am loving the lcd display with the temp and flow rate as well.
Unless it takes them months to have stock, I think this is the one for me.
I've messaged ocuk to see if they're gonna be stocking any, it would be the place to order for next day delivery if they do it.Oh damn that aqua computer block is exactly what im after, display matches perfect.
Not too keen on their own website though the translation is iffy, anyone know best place to keep an eye out for stock or subscribe to alets for them?
