Thanks! It is a nice little case and the fans in particular have a quality feel to them. I built it last year and patiently skipped the 2000 series. Glad to finally have it all built. The way the founders edition reflects the light is gorgeous. Definitely pleased with the card!

Joined the forum today since I just received my Asus 3090 Strix OC and it has coil whine while gaming :(
Has anyone of you had this on your 3090? Anyone with the Asus 3090 in particular? Didnt expect this from a €2000 card.

My vendor provides 60-day free of return policy so Im free to return it within that period but just wanted to hear from your experience if this is a wide-spread issue with 3090?

It does look good and there is a anti-sag bracket in the box. I found it on Friday afternoon (not from a scalper) so it missed Monday delivery and here it is. It will be installed tomorrow with a few other things. I had a different one on order but that has been cancelled as I wasn't expecting to see that order before the end of next month. I can't wait to use it in anger! :D
 
My scores are normal with balanced power plan in:
Unigine Superposition 1080P EXTREME ,12154pts<- normal, 3dmark extreme 23,500 gpu <--normal

Only in timespy i have 1000 points gap between balanced vs max performance.
During test cpu dropping random clocks in timespy on balanced. In max performance is steady 4600mhz so thats why i think i have lower score with balanced.
In max performance i have 19000 gpu score +- in time spy.


Games running ok with balanced.

I have 9700K on stock and Palit Gamepro 3090 rtx
 
After playing with this thing for a few hours I really think I don't need this amount of gpu power in my life lol, it is pretty daft but brilliant at the same time.

I've got some coil whine with my FE but it seems game dependent. RDR2 sounded like I had an angry mosquito in my case although it got better over time. Crysis 3 virtually no noise, tiny bit when looking at the weapon customisation menu for a long time.
 
My FE was so loud when fps was hitting like 240+ FPS on some games/menu screens but its got a lot better over the last week or so.

If i really want to shut it up i just turn on V-sync or limit frames to 60/100 but im hopefull its actually going to stop completely going by the reduction recently (or maybe when i watercool it).
 
I am so happy with my Palit 3090 GamingPro. Is much quieter than my previously Waterforce 2080 Ti Aorus. But have higher temps ok. But is more quiet:) And performance is outstanding ( etc Crysis remastered )
