Whats everyone else getting? I had +150 core and +250 memory. Can probs go higher with memory but is there any point with the error correction?

Yep, so far so good. No problems at all running at stock. Even with my Corsair SF Series 750W SFX PSU, the power hungry Ryzen 9 3950x is going nicely with the 3090 Gaming OC.

The 3950x is not power hungry until you overclock it
They are not power hungry after you overclock them either.
Power hungry is using a 10980XE overclocked, that does use a huge amount more watts.
Got systems with both the above CPUs and very much prefer using the Ryzen one.
Any word on the Alphacool AIO cooler for 3090?
Oh for sure. When I say hungry, its only 250w - quite considerable for anyone with a 650w-750w PSU and wants to also use a 3090. But of course the 10980xe takes the cake as those overclocked are over 400w

Been talking to a alphacool rep about restock and the reference boards should be restocked this week if anyone is after one. Pre-order from main site though not through an etailer.

Off topics slighty, well not loads as got 3090 on order too, but what sort of clocks you attain with 10980XE. Got a cherry picked and delidded 7980XE from 8pack so curious what if any upgrade I could see.

My 10980XE reaches exactly the same overclock as the cherry picked 7980XE I got from 8 Pack, they can both reach 4.8, the IMC on my 10980XE is not that good and will only do 3200mhz.
As to performance the 10980XE has a tiny bit more but no where near enough to justify an upgrade from a 7980XE.
