The anti piracy cinema add

Hi,

Anybody seen the cinema add where they are going on about piracy and giving examples of how "bad" it is, they site one of the bad things as somebody getting up in the middle of the show, how is this any different to actually being in the cinema ;)

It's an absolute disgrace, you pay £6 to be told not to steal?

Who the hell do they think they are?

edit/ But yes, you're right. Not to mention our local cinema often forget to set the aspect ratio, so for the first 10minutes at least, a pirate copy would be easier on the eyes.

hahaha...i always say that. i might complain in future!! :p

the people that make those adverts obviously havent seen a pirate film recently. one of my mates told me that they're getting to be pretty good quality now. one of them even said there's a way to copy DVDs :o

also, is anit the same as anti? :p

when i want the authentic cinema experience, i get my parents to sit next to me and comment on every single new person that walks on the screen. i also get my brother to throw popcorn at me, and i grab a random ***** from outside to throw coke at my TV.

This is why I've now got a projector in my room :)

I wonder if anyone has ever seen that ad, said "OH NOES!" and packed up their video camera and microphone.

It does strike me as ironic that the people paying money to see the film get moaned at for piracy while the pirates just leave that bit out. Better luck next time, eh?
