Its 100% free with 32 and 64 bit versions.

the only thing is, its slow as crap

its ok for testing, but rubbish as an os replacement, much better off dual booting

plus, virtualbox is much faster (can only emulate 32bit at the moment) http://www.virtualbox.org/

No just 2 tiny apps that i must use for work as they wont work in vista.

The spps work fine but as the emulated XP cant access my printer it looks like its a waste of time so may have to stick to dual booting

one way to use your printer would be to share it from your main pc (using windows printer sharing) then add it as a shared printer in your virtual environment)

you can also pause + close virtual sessions, so you don't have to boot up each time, just takes about 20 seconds to save the state and restore
