Hi folks,

So I finally installed my Antec 900, after several issues with faulty PSU's (Jeantech 700W Storm!) I decided to buy another PSU.

Got a 700W Thermaltake Toughpower Modular, with 14cm Fan :D Its fantastic!

Anyway!

The Antec left me worried, because I couldnt be very neat with cabling, I did my best, but its quite cramped...

HOWEVER

It does not seem to affect temp because heres my temps!

CPU = 20 degrees (yes TWENTY!)
MB = 31 degrees
CPU Fan @ 750rpm

My CPU is a Core 2 Duo E6600, running @ 2.61ghz.

With my last case, a thermaltake Armor, which was bigger and more spacious, the cooling was

CPU = 28 degrees
MB = 39 degrees

So this Antec is FANTASTIC!

Cannot recommend it enough, if you are looking to buy one! Do it you will not be dissapointed!!!

20c, Thats probably wrong :p Depending on what cooler and rpogram you are using to monitor temps.

Good difference from your old case, shame it looks like crap :/

Looks awesome to me, That and the TT Armor are the best looking cases out, the rest are horrid IMO!

My CPU cooler is an Arctic Freezer 7 Pro.

Using ASUS Probe to monitor the temps.

I'll try and take some pics later.

TT Armor was dust magnet, but nothing a hoover every other week wont fix :)

Use coretemp becuase 20c is unrealistic with the fan speed so low unless you are living in a fridge :p

As for looking good, each to their own but they just don't compare to a good Lian Li or Silverstone.

Where can I get coretemp?

Lian Li are the most boring cases though, they are like what you see in an Office block :D I like the all flashing all dancing boy racer cases! :D

Temps are fine for Idle, my 6300 @ 2.87ghz idles at 33 and loads at 45 (Orthos) in my Gigabyte Aurora. Using a freezer 7 pro + 120mm fan.

Who told you below 30? These are fine up to load temps of around 60c.

Yes the 900 is amazing.

I just purchased a toughpower 750w psu along with an Antec 900...and my mobo and graphics card temps dropped by 8c! ...and it's quieter than my Thermaltake Soprano!

I was going to buy the Thermaltake Soprano, is it good against dust?

there is no room to tuck cables out of the way!! :( But I agree the cooling on this baby is wicked!! :) ive had a go at tidying mine but it just dont happen!!

i have a themaltake armour with stock cpu cooler and my cpu is 23c idle so its possible i guess. my room temp is 18c

As has been shown his CPU is 33c, not 20 and I very much doubt yours is only 23c without high end water cooling at least :)

its winter :P but in summer yes temps are about 30 ish,

(aka the morons who live in my house have the windows open in winter and im sat here with a huge double layer coat on wilst on my pc)

my crappy case at the moment is doing 25c idle and 35load becuase my house has poor insulation but in the summer it turns into a oven and my pc has to throttle itself back to keep cool

try restting your cmos, i had a similar issue where my QX6700 was
reading 21 degrees, a reset of the cmos jumper put it back in sync to 47 lol

asus p5b deluxe btw
