You wouldn't get any notifications. They all come through the phone.
Bit of a daft question, but complete Apple Watch n00b. If I left my phone at home and took out my watch, would you still receive the notifications? Txt email etc? Or would I have to have my iPhone near at all times for bluetooth to work...
I've read about this before but I've never actually experienced it. I did put my phone onto airplane mode at home and tried to get some messages in but they didn't appear until the phone was re-enabled.Would depend if you were connected to WiFi. Your watch connects to wifi networks your phone has connected to. If you connect to wifi you get iMessages etc.
Anyone noticed a speed difference with the dual core if you came from an original Apple Watch?
Question tho, to those who have upgraded. How much snappier is the series 2 over the original ?
Honest answer, not really, no. That's comparing it with the original Apple watch with watchOS3 though and I've got my most commonly used apps in the dock so they open straight away.
Fourteen days. Yes, it's an unconditional return so no problems at all.
I'm leaning more now towards returning it for a refund. How about you Feek?
The only thing stopping me sending this back is that I've noticed battery life on the original watch is now significantly worse. When I slap it on the charger before bed, it's always around 20% lower than it was on watchOS2. That's quite some drop.
Which will defeat the benefits of watchOS3 and apps running in the dock. That's not really a solution.Try disabling background app refresh in your watch app, it may help.
Cheers all
