But I'm not really a runner or anything. What do you like about yours the most?

Only thing I'm worrying about is warranty but I bought my iPad in America so not that worried

Edit : Bah after trying 4 different shops none had the 42mm grey.

Guys, I'm sure its specific to the series 2 but can someone recommend a stand? Sick of my kids nearly standing on it whilst it charges on the floor! If it housed an iPhone that would be ideal. I see loads to choose from but unsure on their quality and also I bought a dock for my iPhone on my desk that I wasn't happy with, every time I would pull the phone off charge it would pull the cable out with it. It was pointless in the end.

Heads up - there might be stock of the Nike version of the watch in Apple stores as it was just released on Friday

My birthday present was bought on Saturday - 42mm in Space Gray Aluminum case with Black/Cool Gray :)

Yeah, theres a nike one near me. I'm tempted to snag it and change the band with a cheaper 3rd party one.

I just still can't work out if I need one. I can see it either being like my iPad which I couldn't live without for years or just finding it not very useful. Hmm...

After a month with my Series 1 I can safely say that this is by far and away the best smart watch I've used. I had a Moto 360 and an LG Urbane with my Android phone before making the switch and am finding the Apple Watch to just be functionally superior to the Android devices in every measurable respect. It's faster, easier to use, and more feature complete - such as the ability to scribble replies to texts etc.
My only complaint is that it doesn't look as nice as the round Android devices.

Yes I would.
By the way, the 3.1 update has dome wonders for the battery life of the Series 1 / 2. I've gone from being down to 30% battery at 10pm (from 6am), to having 75% remaining at the same time the last 2 nights after the update.

I've also noticed that the battery life on the Series 2 is tonnes better with 3.1. I took my watch off charge about 24 hours ago and although I didn't use it very much it's still showing 75% battery remaining.

Working in town today so I'll pop into the Apple store and see what I think about it. My heart wants one but my brain is trying to talk myself out of it. Doesn't seem to be many apps that support it just yet.

Dreading walking into the Apple store to be honest. Always seems to have the worst type of people in there and then they talk to you as if you are retarded and don't understand anything.

Yeah battery is much better on 3.1
Came off charge at 0800 this morning and I'm currently sitting at 76%
No work out today but standard usage for me, showing off, checking notifications replying to message etc. Could easily make two days if I wanted
I'm interested to see how it fairs with a run thrown in their too

I went in the apple store and tried on the 42mm Nike one but chickened out. I've never been so nervous about buying new tech before.

I'm going to buy it and if i dont like it, return it within the 14 days.

Edit: Bah, out of stock. Thinking the Series 1 may be better for me anyway!

Not sure about a run with GPS usage and how that would impact battery but my usage the other day was off charge at 07:00. Active ish (walking round office etc.). Usual notifications (email and text) usage during the day then 2 hours of squash using it in the evening. Battery was 62% left at 23:30.

Overall I am pretty impressed with it, had some issues with it losing my heart rate a few times during squash (think it got pretty sweaty under the sensor). I didn't have this problem with the mio fuse but I think I'll wear a sweat band above it and put it on slightly tighter during squash and see how I get on.

To those debating it... If I ever leave my watch at home I instantly regret it.

I wouldn't want to go back to an Apple Watch-less life. Payment is amazing, notification alerts are immensely useful, you can be handsfree for so many things.

Don't be worried about tech being outdated soon either. My launch day AW is still great. The fact you are so closely connected with your digital world is a huge advantage that will not go away if a new better model comes out.
