The Apprentice Series 7

Thought Glenn's idea and concept was pretty decent given they had a morning to think it up, the girls were just bitter that their idea wasn't chosen. Took a lot of balls to go with his own idea seeing as he'd have taken all the stick if they'd lost.

I think they were cross that it was a morning wasted. And the grammar nazi in me cringed every time Glenn said "see their light" because I really wasn't convinced he knew the difference between they're and their.

I thought this as well. I am 99% convinced he meant to use "they're"

I actually think Sugar is slightly intimidated by Jim's ability and that's why Jim won't last the distance. He's very smart on the defence and when he said 'with all due respect' and then pummeled him and Karen Brady (eww) down with his eloquence, I really enjoyed it.

Yes Jim picked the name, but they all should have realised that market segmentation was the way to go in this task. And that's all he did wrong.

I was expecting one of the teams to go for a luxury / premium pet food, maybe call it 'Chow-wow' or something :p.

Vincent was pretty rubbish last night and his bum buddy Jim looked like he was the one at the centre of that team. Silly Vincent was played like a fiddle by Jim and good on Jim, he seems to be out there, comes up with the ideas (right or wrong) and can have a good battle even with Karen in the Boardroom.

The winning PM was also a bit of a plonker when he always talked about motivation, getting a 'yes' from the team, then being oh soo decisive with his wonderful catseyesbutnotbutsizebutseethelightnolite!!!!

Still good fun though!

I'm gutted nobody destroyed Glen for the whole 'see their light' line last night - Margaret would have been all over his their vs they're mistake like white on rice.

I think Jim is great - maybe thats supporting a fellow NI citizen though.

Melody and Helen are the probably the best bets for the win. Helen gets fitter each week!

Anyone else feel this series has been a bit of a let down so far?

Last night's task was pretty boring.
Plus I think it just doesn't have the characters the last series did... Stuart 'The Brand' Baggs and Alex were what made it so good and hard to live up to.

Jimis great. Who's better all round than him? Tom is intelligent, Melody is quite good too but a little annoying, but nobody's better imo.

Haven't noticed much of Helen personally.

One thing I was surprised about from last night is that nobody picked up on the terrible nature of Leon's pitch. Compared to Melody's pitch especially, it was just ultimately shoddy. Laughing, erming and ahhing, the general tone of it, no proper introduction...yet nobody seemed to mention in when they were comparing the performance of the two teams?!

Oh, it was painful, wasn't it.

He really wasn't the right man for that job.

He did say he didn't really want to do it, poor lad.

Jim's awesome

Couldn't see why Sugar was ready to rip it out of jim? He put forward an idea in a brain storm and was supposed to take full responsibility for the marketing strategy?.. Jim's been one of the best candidates so far...

I was actually in disbelief when they came out and Leon asked his team how they thought the pitch went and they all said it was great, the editing team must have only showed 1min of his worst parts and the other 19min must have been quite decent.

It's because he's slippery as an eel. He's been on the losing team several times now but not been back in the final 3.

Was annoyed to see Jim getting ripped into by Sugar last night just for coming up with the name when the rest of the team seemed to agree with it and push it. Looks like Sugar doesn't like him at all by his comments about him when he left to Vincent.

Had Jim down as the strongest candidate along with Melody, would be sad to see him go.

Have to agree with Leon's pitch, looked like it went terribly compared with Melody's, surprised it never came up in the boardroom.

I will echo all of the people saying Jim is great. I have wanted him to win since the first task when he managed to negotiate a deal for the remainder of the things they needed for £10. He is just so good :D

I actually dislike Lord Sugar a lot more this series. Never really lets the candidates speak, asks them questions then answers them for them.

Once Jim's Jedi mind tricks start failling and he gets in the boardroom I think he'll probably be gone. After that I like Tom he is pretty good. I have a strong dislike for Natasha though. I don't know why, she annoys me more than Melody. And... her face looks like plastic surgery gone very wrong.

JIM TO WIN!
