A young Donald Trump (Sebastian Stan), eager to make his name as a hungry second son of a wealthy family in 1970s New York, comes under the spell of Roy Cohn (Jeremy Strong), the cut-throat attorney who would help create the Donald Trump we know today. Cohn sees in Trump the perfect protégé—someone with raw ambition, a hunger for success, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to win.

October 11th.

Donald has already sued to try keeping this from getting a release.

I'm surprised it's coming out so close before the U.S. Election tbh. For us (non US residents) it's just mainly a movie for entertainment. But in the US I imagine it may be taken too seriously by some Trump supporters and/or opponents.

Looks interesting from the trailer, albeit i'm not sure if some parts will be comedy or over the top (the brief surgery scene in the trailer for example) I would watch it when it hits streaming anyway, knowing full well that only parts of it are true and the rest will be disputed by Trump (and his supporters, I guess).

I only really "followed" Trump when he fronted the TV show of the same name. Seemed like harmless entertainment at the time, and I thought he was just playing a character for T.V. :p
