Anyone remember this little known sci-fi classic from the 90's? It's one of Charlie Sheen's best movies IMO.

I almost forgot about it until the other day when for some reason "the alien kid with the backward knee joints" popped into my head :D

Ordered the DVD.

I caught the start of this on BBC1 a few weeks back, but wasn't overly impressed with the first 15 minutes (thought it looked like a "straight-to-video" job tbh).

Worth persevering with?

Are you sure it wasn't the crap sequel?

The original film with Charlie Sheen was absolutely excellent and I would recommend any sci-fi buff to watch it :)

Ah ok. It has been a long time since I've seen it so I can't remember if the first 15 minutes were particularly dreary. I think it starts off with a women in the artic circle where loads of ice has melted which sets the premise for the rest of the film.

Yeah, just been reading the synopsis (*possible spoiler warning*) and I should have given it more time. That's the trouble with Sky - it's too easy to find something else to watch (most of the time anyway!)

Never seen it but am going to make sure i check it out as a self proclaimed sci-fi buff i cant really not can i lol!
Thanks for the suggestion ill let ya know what i think!
