Being a gamer who did little else during the early eighties (I was either playing computer games or bunny-hopping around town on my BMX :D) I was really pleased when I came across this in the Steam store, Googling it got me this page to post here.

Online Multiplayer has also been introduced for some of the 100 games the vault holds.

Here's your chance to play classics like Asteroids, Centipede and Missle Command again without dusting off that console that's probably been packed away in your loft for the last 30 years.

On Steam for £15.

I used to use MAME and ROMs for a little while a few years back. It's interesting for a few minutes but soon gets dull. Most of the fun to be had was getting the damn things to work properly.

Great that old games can still be played, always a concern that tech advances remove ability to use old software.

The main problem tends to be you were used to playing on arcade joysticks . I find playing the old classics on a pad is impossible
